Terms of Use

Last updated: April 29, 2026

By using TotallyFreeQR, you agree to the terms below. They're short, written in plain English, and intended to be reasonable.

Use of the service

TotallyFreeQR is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may generate as many QR codes as you want, use them in any context, and there are no attribution requirements. The QR codes you create are yours.

What you can't do

Don't use the service for anything illegal. Don't generate QR codes intended to direct users to malware, phishing sites, illegal content, harassment, fraud, or any other harmful destination. Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or interfere with the operation of the site.

Ownership of your content

Anything you enter to generate a QR code — URLs, text, contact details, WiFi credentials, etc. — remains yours. We do not claim any rights over the content you encode or the QR codes you produce. We do not store, transmit, or have access to this information; all generation happens in your browser.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we make every effort to keep the site running and the QR codes scannable, we cannot guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated codes will scan reliably under all conditions. Always test your QR codes before committing them to print or distribution.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TotallyFreeQR and Jason Craig Productions are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from QR codes that fail to scan, destinations that become unreachable, or any business or personal consequences arising from the use of generated codes.

Third-party content

The site may contain links to external websites and may display third-party advertising. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third party.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when they were most recently revised. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
